Mulligan's is an outdoor fitting shop. The booking calendar shows what's open, and every slot is scored against the National Weather Service forecast — so you book a day you'll actually want to be on the range.

Jay or Matt picks up between fittings. Mon–Sat 10am–8pm. Sun 12pm–7pm.

What happens after you book

1. Confirmation email lands in your inbox.
2.We re-check the forecast 48 hours out. If conditions degrade past what’s fittable, we’ll call to reschedule.
3.Park at Bogey’s Sports Park, walk to the pro shop, ask for Jay or Matt. We’ll head straight to the fitting bay.

What weather actually changes

Bad weather moves the bay, not the fitting.

We have an outdoor grass tee line anda covered hitting bay. When the weather turns, we run the fitting from under cover — Trackman data stays accurate, you just trade visual ball flight for staying dry. For irons and wedges, the bay is fully reliable. For driver-focused fits, a calm outdoor slot is the better choice.

Wind: Cross-wind distorts what you see in the air. Irons + wedges still read cleanly on Trackman. Drivers prefer a calm day or the covered bay.
Rain: Wet grooves grab differently — wedge spin runs 1–2k higher than dry. Light rain we hit through. Steady rain moves the whole fitting under cover.
Cold: Below 45°F the ball gives up 5–10 yards of carry. Below 35°F it's noticeable enough that distance recommendations get harder to calibrate.
Heat: Hot dense Virginia air lets the ball fly a few extra yards. We calibrate the recommendation against your typical playing temps, not a peak July afternoon.
