What makes us different

Selection. Service. We have both.

Richmond golfers usually have two choices. A big box with every club in stock but no time to fit you properly. Or a private studio with great service, an indoor simulator, and a $400 session fee. Mulligan’s is the third choice. Outside. Honest. Local.

  1. 01

    Real range

Every fitting happens outside, on real grass at Bogey's Sports Park. You see the ball flight. You feel the contact. The numbers and the eyes line up. No nets, no simulators.

  2. 02

    Trackman

Trackman runs behind you on every swing. Ball speed, club head speed, spin, launch angle, carry. The full data report lands in your inbox before you leave the shop.

  3. 03

    Real shop

Browse the wall, hit anything in the demo cart out the back, get fit, take the clubs home the same afternoon. Pro shop, range, and fitting bay in one stop.

  4. 04

    Fair pricing

Authorized fitter for every major manufacturer. The largest selection of fitting carts in Richmond. Country club service at big box prices. Trade-ins always welcome.

On outdoor fitting

“Golf is not played in a laboratory.”

“Never buy a set of clubs without hitting balls outside, in conditions that allow you to see the direction and trajectory. Indoor nets coupled with launch monitors are useful tools. But to gain a realistic sense of how a club performs, you need to take the measuring devices outside.”

James Achenbach · Golfweek columnist

The fitting

A real range beats a net.

A good fitting starts with knowing where every ball actually went. Net-and-screen setups give you launch monitor data and a guess at the rest. Outside at Bogey’s you see the full ball flight. Carry, curve, bounce. The carry number on the launch monitor matches the carry you watched land.

Trackman captures ball speed, club head speed, spin, and carry on every swing. The full report goes to your inbox. The decision still comes from what you saw with your own eyes.

  1. 01

    We talk through your game.

Handicap. Miss patterns. The courses you actually play. Twenty minutes of conversation shapes every recommendation that follows.

  2. 02

    We bring out the carts.

Every major brand. Every shaft family. Every loft and lie combination worth comparing. We pull what fits the conversation, not a generic kit.

  3. 03

You hit balls. Outside. On grass.

Trackman captures the data. You watch the ball curve, climb, and land. We change one variable at a time. Head, shaft, length, lie, grip.

  4. 04

You leave with clubs that fit.

Report emailed. Build ordered or pulled from the shelf. Trade-ins appraised on the spot, credit applied toward whatever you're building next.

Doing business with them for 6-7 years now. Kind, courteous, really go out of their way to accommodate customers. I recommend Mulligan's to all of my friends and fellow golfers.
Tommy Blanchard/Regular fitting client
Fit for and purchased 2 sets of irons, multiple drivers, a couple of fairway woods, and at least 3 putters. Always impressed with Jay and Matt's knowledge base. The demo selection and fitting experience are top notch.
